How to use the AM Workspace

The whole job in one loop: track activity → close the month → decide misses → keep the roster honest.

The ranks

Four ranks, lowest to highest. Rank decides how someone is grouped and sorted in reports — the quota is the same for all of them.

  • ModeratorEntry rank, and what a new staff member gets by default.
  • Senior ModeratorA moderator with seniority.
  • AdministratorAdministrators read fuchsia everywhere they appear.
  • Senior AdministratorThe top of the ladder.

Rank is changed from a person’s profile with the Rank button, and every move is written to their timeline as a promotion or a demotion.

The quota rules (what the colors mean)
  • In-Game30 reports a month. Every LOA day in the month lowers the target by 1 — automatically. A result within 5 below the target lands in the grace band: flagged, but no action needed.
  • Forum (every rank)Hard 5 reports. No grace, no LOA scaling — the only relief is a Metric Exception, which must carry a written reason.
  • DiscordTickets are tracked and reported, never judged.
METGRACEMISSED IGNO DATA· every card carries its rank badge· leave is always amber LOA 7d
Dashboard — your starting point

The banner tells you where the monthly cycle stands: due (nobody has started), in progress (a draft exists — resume it), or closed. The four tiles are your to-do radar: pending strike tasks, undecided evaluations, who’s on LOA right now, and anyone at 2+ strikes in 3 months. Every tile links to the page where you act on it.

Below that is the active roster with each person’s latest judged month at a glance. Click anyone to open their profile.

Close-Out — the monthly ritual (start on the 1st)
  • 1 · CollectPaste the game panel’s stats dump into the box — names are matched to the roster automatically. Forum totals pre-fill from the forum bot’s sheet (override if wrong); Discord totals are manual — use the Query button to copy a per-person search, run it in Discord, type the count. Log any missing LOAs right here with + LOA.
  • 2 · ReviewEvery person’s staged month: previous totals → new totals → the delta that gets judged. Anomalies are called out (totals going down, 0 forum reports, first months, no panel data). Someone with no panel data can be counted as zero or excluded entirely — your call, one click.
  • 3 · DecideOnly the misses appear. For each: Strike (creates a task + Discord ping), Exception (needs a reason, noted on their record), Dismiss, or Later (stays undecided in Discipline). The grace band is listed for awareness — no decision needed.
  • 4 · PublishOne action commits everything atomically: snapshots, decisions, strike tasks, then the Discord posts (member digests + 🏆 top stats, both optional).

Your draft autosaves at every step and is shared — another admin can pick up where you left off. Closed the month wrong? Admin → Months → Undo close-out reverses it completely. You can also open next month early from the Close-Out page once the current one is closed — useful for a practice run.

Staff — the roster

+ Add for one person (Discord ID is the permanent key — names can change freely), + Bulk for a paste-list. Everyone’s card shows their latest month, strikes, and LOA state.

Open a profile to do everything about one person: change their rank, log LOAs, add permanent notes, edit name/forum link, or Remove (rank and full history are preserved). Removed people exist in exactly one place — the Inactive tab on the Staff page — and their profile is where you Reinstate them.

Discipline — the ledger

Every quota miss ever, with its outcome: Undecided means it still needs a call — the same Strike / Exception / Dismiss buttons work right here, no need to wait for a close-out. Any decision can be Reopened and re-decided later. The dashboard’s escalation tile (2+ strikes in 3 months) is your cue to look someone up here.

Reports — looking back and across
  • Month viewAny month’s full picture: per-rank group averages and miss rates, top performers, and every member’s digest. Post to Discord… re-sends a month’s digest/top posts if they never went out.
  • TrendsEveryone across the last 3 / 6 / 12 / all months in one grid — each cell is that month’s IG with forum underneath, colored met/grace/missed. The top rows compare each rank month by month. Rightmost columns: average IG and reliability.
  • ComparePick individuals and compare lifetime totals and reliability side by side.
Admin — the machine room
  • SnapshotsThe raw committed numbers. Edit or delete a row when something was entered wrong — totals and deltas are edited independently, deliberately.
  • TasksThe work queue (strike tasks land here). Claim, complete, or create general tasks with an optional AM-role ping.
  • MonthsEach month’s state. Reopen just unlocks it; Undo close-out deletes its snapshots, decisions and pending strike tasks — as if Publish never ran.
  • LOAsEvery leave record, deletable if logged wrong.

The database is backed up nightly, automatically.
